A private prayer board for your church
Prayer Board gives your congregation one private place where every request is prayed over, every answer becomes a testimony, and nothing falls through the cracks.

How it works
Most prayer requests get shared once, and nobody hears another word about them. Here's what happens on Prayer Board instead.
A church member submits a prayer request to their church family, under their own name or anonymously. It goes to your church's private board, never the open internet.
Members tap “I Prayed”, and the member who asked gets an email with the name of the person who prayed. No more wondering if anyone actually prayed.
Members can simply click “I Prayed,” or they can go the extra mile and type out a prayer or even record an audio prayer, similar to a friend praying with you over the phone. It’s surprisingly encouraging and uplifting. Only they and the church admins can listen to recordings.
Requests don't expire or get buried. Each one stays on the board, prayed over, until it's marked answered, and that's when the best part begins.
The Testimony Moment
When a request is marked answered, the whole congregation gets the news. The prayer card takes on a new life. It becomes a testimony that highlights what God has done, with a written note or a video recorded right in the app. Members can click “PTL” to celebrate the answer together.
The Answered tab keeps every prayer God has answered in your church, where everyone can see it.
The moment a request is marked answered, the whole congregation is told what God did, so everyone gets to celebrate the answer together.
When a prayer is answered, the person can record a short video testimony right in the app, telling the whole church what God did. Getting to see and hear how God has moved in someone’s life is the “word of their testimony,” and it’s faith-inspiring.
Marking a prayer answered isn't a cleanup step. It's the moment the board was built for. The Answered tab fills up with proof, in your own people's words, that God is still at work among you.
They overcame by the blood of the Lamb and the word of their testimony.
Built for the people responsible
You're the one accountable when a request slips through the cracks. Prayer Board is built so that doesn't happen and you keep full oversight of every post and every interaction.
Turn on the approval queue and review every signup before they see a single request. Your board, your call.
You're in full control of what needs your approval before it goes live. Switch review on or off for each kind on its own: new members, prayer requests, testimonies, and comments. That lets you set the right balance of freedom and safety for your church.
An 8-character code and a shareable link. Regenerate it anytime. The old code stops working immediately.
Your prayer team is notified of every new request and sees the whole board. No more chasing down the list.
Members choose how they hear from the board: every new request instantly, a daily digest at the hour they pick, or a weekly summary on the day they choose. Every email has an off switch.
Members, requests, answered prayers, activity over time. Real numbers to bring to the elders' meeting.
Private by default. Only approved members of your own church can see your board. Your church's board is completely separate from every other church's, everything is encrypted in transit and at rest, and we never sell or share your data. Ever. How we protect your church's data →
What it replaces
Your prayer team leader means well, but keeping requests organized in a notebook, a spreadsheet, or the group text is a constant hassle. And actually tracking which prayers God answered? That rarely happens at all. Here's what retires the day your church joins.
Already on Planning Center or Breeze? Prayer Board runs alongside them. It never touches your giving, attendance, or member records, and there's no second database to maintain. Members join with one link.
Simple, published pricing
Every feature on every plan: audio prayers, video testimonies, moderation, dashboard. No per-member math, no sales call, no hidden add-ons. The prices on this page are the prices.

Questions pastors ask
Most church apps die in the download. Prayer Board has nothing to download. It's a link in the bulletin that opens in any browser. And it gives people a reason to come back that an app full of menus never had: the person who asked for prayer gets a note every time someone prays, and the whole congregation gets the news when God answers. People keep coming back to find out what God did.
Most church software has a page where requests pile up. Prayer Board is a loop: the person who asked finds out, by name, who prayed, hears their name prayed out loud, and the whole church gets the news when God answers. It also runs alongside Planning Center, Breeze, or whatever you already use, and it never touches your giving, attendance, or member records. If your current tool already closes that loop, you don't need us.
Only approved members of your own church. Your board is private. People join with your invite code, and you can require admin approval on top of that. Your church's board is completely separate from every other church's, so no other church can ever see yours. Everything is encrypted in transit and at rest, and we never sell or share your data. Read our security & data practices.
You decide what gets published. Admins can require approval for new members, prayer requests, testimonies, and comments. Each toggle is independent, so use as much or as little review as your church needs. Admins can also remove a member at any time, and access is revoked immediately.
Yes. Anyone can check “Post anonymously” when something is too personal to put their name on, and their name is hidden from other members. Your church admins can still see who posted, so pastoral care is still possible, and accountability never disappears.
Only the person who posted the request, and your church admins, so there's always pastoral oversight. Audio prayers are never public, even inside your church. It's the closest thing to someone praying for you in the next room.
Any phone, tablet, or computer with a web browser. There's no app to download and nothing to install. Members open your church's link, join with the invite code, and they're on the board. It's built to be simple for every age and comfort level. (Members need to be 13 or older.)
Register at app.churchprayerboard.com/register-church. It's a three-step setup: name your church, create your admin account, verify your email. You immediately get an invite code and a shareable link to pass to your congregation. You can be live the same day.
One person, on purpose. Prayer Board is independently built and run by Dereck Johnson. Fourteen years in worship ministry, seven of them on church staff, now a software builder. No investors, no growth team, one tool doing one thing well. When you email, he's the one who answers. Read the story behind it.
Your people's prayers, recordings, and testimonies belong to your church, not to us. If you cancel, your board pauses rather than disappearing, and nothing is deleted without notice. Ask and we'll provide a full copy of your church's data. If Prayer Board ever shut down, you'd get notice and time to take your records with you. The full policy, in plain language.
Cancel anytime. There's no contract and no cancellation call. Your trial is 30 days with no credit card, so the honest worst case is that you tried something for free.
